My favorite thing to do is to grab coffee with friends!
U of I students love to start their day with a cup of locally brewed coffee and we are proud to serve their top choice, Brewlab, in our lobby café.
I love chilling at Sipyard in Downtown Urbana!
Step outside Yugo Guest Suites, walk 0.7 miles, and you will find yourself at Sipyard , the local Beer garden that shares a space with an outdoor graffiti gallery.
Take photos with the the Alma Mater.
The bronze statue by sculptor Lorado Taft, is a famous symbol of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Join the thousands of students and alumni who have taken photos with the Alma Mater. Be sure to read the inscription while you’re there!
I love to sit on the quad with my friends.
The main quad puts you at the center of it all. Bring a picnic and people watch, join a game of football, or enjoy some late-night star gazing.
Go Bowling!
The best kept secret on campus is that the Illini Union Rec Room has a bowling alley! You don’t have to be enrolled to enjoy all that the rec room has to offer, including other games like Xbox and pool. Located in the lower level of the Illini Union next to the food court at 1401 W. Green St.
